I Will Exalt You, My God

I will exalt you, my God, the King.I will praise your name forever and ever.

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

The psalm opens with a personal vow: I will exalt you, my God, the King, and praise your name forever. God is addressed as King from the first line. His kingdom returns as a theme in verses 11 to 13.
