How every page on AllPsalms is written, sourced and checked, and how to report a mistake.

The scripture

The psalm text is printed exactly as published in the World English Bible and the King James Version, both public domain, along with the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex), the Douay-Rheims and the Latin Vulgate. It is never edited, including its punctuation.

The notes

Summaries, verse notes, answers, prayers and study questions are written for this site from the words of each psalm. They are drafted with the help of AI writing tools working from the text and the sources, then checked claim by claim against the psalm text and the listed sources before they are published.

What we do not claim

No claims about Hebrew word meanings or dates of composition. Authorship follows the psalm headings and is not treated as proven. Church use, history and scholarship are mentioned only with a source, listed on the page. Where a claim could not be checked, it was left out.

Fact-checking

On 25 September 2026 every psalm, topic and guide page was checked again against the text and its sources. 302 corrections were made on 160 pages: wrong verse numbers or counts, notes that described the King James wording while the page shows the World English Bible, claims that went beyond what a verse says, and popularity claims with no source. Each correction is recorded with its reason.
